Great thread.  I'm on the other end, I recently passed 2,000 miles on a Guzzi.  About 120,000 lifetime miles on bikes though, so not a complete slouch.

This inspired me to guesstimate my own mileage. I have accurate data for about 10 years (I log mileage at every fuel stop) and projecting that back, riding about seven months a year since 1970, I figure about 280,000 miles on 10 different bikes. About 90,000 on Guzzis. Mileage varies tremendously year to year depending on whether I was commuting on a bike, living in the city or the mountains, had a wife-or-girlfriend who liked to ride, etc.

You two are embarrassing me

Speaking of riding , we really do need to get a good road trip in before Chet and I get too old , Luap still has a way to go . Colorado maybe , in 2018 ? I just need a day's head start  :embarrassed:
