Im watching the weather reports.  One day it says rain for Saturday, the next it says sunny.  I will wait until later in week to make a call as to whether the weather means cancellation or not.  Lets hope it stays nice.

WEATHER UPDATE!  The weather report is NOT looking good for Saturday 18 Nov.  We dont want riders having to ride in during thunderstorms.  I am watching the weather closely and will make a call as to cancellation or not,  by Thursday 16 Nov, so you will know ahead of time.

Due to a  bad weather forecast for my area Saturday all day, and Saturday night, I have made the decision to cancel our first annual Brat/Burger run.  But all is not lost.  Here is the plan......

REMINDER....Tn/Ga meet and greet lunch for December is planned for Dec 2, 2017 at Tellico Kats, in Tellico Plains, Tn area.  http://wildguzzi.com/forum/index.php?topic=93236.0

AND

April or May of 2018 we will be having the First Annual Burger/Brat Moto Guzzi CAMPOUT which means we will host all you riders from Friday through Sunday for a campout at my place.  We live out in the country on seven acres, with a creek and plenty of camping room, fire pit etc etc.

The tentative plan will be to have riders arrive Friday Afternoon/evening, a Saturday ride to one of the local (Tellico Plains or The Ocoee Dam Deli or something) eating establishments, a couple of brat/burger cookouts for a couple of meals, etc. and weekend camaraderie.

I will work out the details soon, but we are looking at the weekend of April 27-29, 2018, or possibly the first weekend in May (4-6 May 2018) as the dates.

Please reply with your thoughts as to the spring campout idea????????????

AOK Bob, got a Norge job for Fri & now don't have to hurry. Could have finished on time to go but no parts till sometime tomorrow.

Not sure about Dec.2nd , being open for me but I'll find out before next week .

I believe I'd have to go ahead and run the Sky-Way while in the neighborhood , and maybe take 64/River-Road back to Southern Middle Tn.   Its probably to cold to do the Skyway twice !

A weekend CAMP-OUT is right up my alley !    By time Spring gets here I'll be like a horse chomping at the bit to take a three day ride somewhere !   
I'm good for a 10 hour ride day anytime the weather , chore load , and wife allows !

     If you can, stop over at Crockett Powersports on Access road tomorrow. They're off 153, exit 6. They have a gorgeous white 2014 California 1400 Touring on consignment. I saw it today and just posted about it. I'd love to bring it home but I'm not sure that's going to happen anytime soon. Plus I really love my Victory.
