A beautiful late November day

Perfect day to wrap up the 2017 season, unless we have more of the same in December.  That's rare.

Today was sunny, and by noon, in the low 60s.  My good riding buddy, Tom, and I met up at Coffee Corners in Burton Ohio for lunch, and after chewing the fat for a good while, got out and rode north into Ohio wine country.  Not a long day of riding, just pleasant.  I was on the 1200 Sport, Tom on his lovely 2016 Triumph T120. 

It was extremely breezy, and we got blown around quite a bit, but for November 28th, one couldn't ask for a nicer day here in NE Ohio.

Exact same weather here in SW Indiana, I moved a V day from Thursday to today for threefold reason:  Had an a.m. dental appt, had to take fiancee to airport late morning, and.... wanted to get some riding in !!    Went out and about the local patch for few hours in the afternoon.  I concur about the wind.  Still, a decent day to get some much desired riding in.

P.S.  Your 1200 Sport looks quite striking.  Very cool.

Got out for lunch and an errand here in Connecticut.  45 degrees and breezy.  Still glad for the brief ride on the new Norge.

Same here in north Il. Had the Red Arrow (B1100) in full song!  What joy to pull this impressively engineered motorcycle through its paces !   I can't see getting rid of it until the time comes when I might need to downsize, many years from now, I hope.

Thanksgiving and the next day were just about perfect as it gets for riding and I was too sick to ride.

29th is a Wonderful day in MA / CT. Rode to the doctor's office (Eastern MA) yesterday in 20F. Today I'm making a run down to Orlando and it was 55F as I rolled out of the garage.



Heading SOUTH as soon as possible. Sun is shining and birds are singing. Retired life is good indeed.
