It's especially hard on days when the (diabetic) Hubs brings home a Costco sized box of Oreos because he "thought the kids might like one", I wanna reach for my Sig Sauer. :thewife:  I think shooting cookies would be more fun than eating them.

It took me a year to lose the last 20 or so, because I wasn't carrying around extra pounds to burn calories.  I'll assume by your name your a guy, and with your extra muscle mass they should come off much faster.  The trick is maintenance, you will NEVER be able to eat like you did when heavy.  Once you get to where you want to be, don't relax your "diet" habits, they are for life.

My variation, "Eat less, play more!".  Exercise has always seemed a chore, whilst the ride/hike/anything outside w/kids is a fun way to fit in physical movement.  Your wife is indeed a wise woman.

Hiking is by far the best and most fun exercise there is! :1: :thumb:

Over the last 4-day Thanksgiving weekend, we hiked over 12.6 miles!

Note to self. Make some kind of rack that holds Oreos..

We've got a Ritz cracker thrower that's great fun at family gatherings.

It's like a small clay thrower but (believe it or not) it'll throw a Ritz cracker 40 yards, and if you hit it with a .410 with #8 shot, it'll dust it.

I'll bet it would work with Oreos too.
