These guys might be smarter than me.

I notice that none of MY bikes are featured on an international website getting thousands of views, hits, and comments.  If that was my goal, I'm way behind any of these guys.

Lucky for me, it wasn't.

Who ever put that together knows very little about motorbikes . The *boat sidecar* is actually a functional device designed to transport a small boat from the house to the water . Fairly common in the UK , especially around the locks in Scotland .

I'm thinking #5 is actually an aprilia Futura.

a) Yes, the writer of this knows nothing about bikes.
b) Few of those bikes were modified for the purposes of being more fonctional bikes, so many of the modification aren't dumb for the intended usage.
c) I used to know the owner of the Tiger Ducati, and saw the bike several times.

I would challenge the owner of #7 to ride 30 miles without stopping, either at freeway speed or in the mountains, say on The Dragon.

Agree with PhilB that most of these bikes weren't meant to be functional, unless you consider satirical creativity to be a function.

And a couple of them are obviously photoshop creations rather than real metal and fiberglass bikes.

I swear I saw something like this years ago.   It looks like something Dan Gurney was developing a while back.   The plank was supposed to helped out greatly with motorcycle seating comfort. Probably supporting more butt/leg area.  (but was too dangerous if you didn't know how to mount and dismount)

You are right. It was supposed to be very comfortable to ride with, so I have heard, but dismounting was impossible. A version with folding ability was made but never caught on.

Someone custom-made that setup from scratch.   That's some nice leatherwork.

AND a happy dog.

Are these any good? Motorcycle Tyre Pressure Monitoring System add-on.

I got a set of 4 car type unit senders on order for my car but I like the idea of seeing my V7Classic's tires pressure and temps. Maybe not so dumb.

I already know that Tire Pressure Monitors are a very useful safety item on a bike; I (like you) would love to know if this one works, as it looks like it would make a great retrofit.

The fuel gauge should work in theory; once you calibrate it with known fuel quantities, and tell it what pressure corresponds to what fuel level in the tank (which also depends on what size hoses you have and other things that affect the hydraulic "head") there's no reason why that shouldn't work very well.   Only other variable would be fuel density, and I don't think that varies much except with temperature, which the thing ought to be able to compensate for.

Good to know those things are out there "just in case" one of the older bikes "needs" an update!

The TPMS I have on the GRiSO works a treat. Saw the set-up on Vagrants guzzi.

Thanks guys! Ok. Im going to send me a Christmas Present!

I looked for other products out there that could also measure fuel in a tank without a float, couldnt find anything else on the market. Looks like a big improvement over the silly "resistor" type my Lil Guzzy uses.

Meanwhile ....

Where to start? ....

I have a poor quality pic of that guy apparently riding that thing on the freeway.  It looks scary.  That one has to be way worse than the #1 bike with all of the chachkies on it.
