I know the place well. Doesn't seem as there is much being offered, but if you're local and really interested in the stuff . . .

Looks like they have a new untitled 97 Cali Anniversary edition, and also a very cool Guzzi factory display cutaway. It's a Convert engine and tranny/accessories:

The parts outta be worth something... :thumb:

I heard that Hunchies went out of business.

Not much parking there.

Might be worth taking a look.

Aw man. I liked that shop. I guess we all get old.

Last time I was there years ago it was like a cave and I kept finding hidden treasures I wanted for my Cali II.

Settled on a used Russell Day Long seat for my Cali II. That was all I could afford back then. Still had kids and a mortgage.
yeah, I might be addicted to brake fluid. But I can stop any time I want.

Did anyone here make the auction?  What did the 75th anniversary 1100 sell for?

I was there. That bike did not sell. He still has it. The Triumph and Guzzi tooling went for dirt cheap. Most items went at bargain prices.

Hamlin was there if I understand correctly.  Did you see him?

I met several new guzziphiles. But I am terrible with names. I did meet a gentleman who had been at the auction for GT motors. A lot of great bikes for sale there that had no titles.  The owner of the 75th anniversary bike is considering sending it to the Mecum auction in Las Vegas and taking whatever it gets. He feels there may be more serious buyers there. He did not get what I consider any serious bids for it at his auction.

I don't think he'll get anything near what he thinks he'll get.  It's just a paint job on a not highly valued Guzzi.

At this point it's a museum piece with dried out seals. Only worth money if you're going to look at it.

Doubt anyone would buy it at Mecum's but you never know.

Chances are he's going to be disappointed and out the transportation costs.

Shipping cost to NV + entry fee to Mecum and the seller might find he owes money.

You'd be surprised. I've had several Guzzi's from the 70's that were side lined in the 80's & 90's according to inspection stickers and had minimal leakage upon revival.
