Last summer I rode from the Minnesota Rally in Grand Marais with Rodney Revis of the Iowa Rally group to his home in Spencer, IA...my front tire on the Norge was starting to look a little thin to continue on to Oklahoma so on a Sunday afternoon at 4:30 pm-ish, Rodney graciously offered his garage, his home, and his area bike contacts to try and locate a front tire...of course I'm thinking we might find something in a larger nearby town or order from Amazon and wait for Brown Santa...Rodney said "Let me make a call..." and came back smiling...a friend in an even smaller town north of Spencer had a bike shop and by happy chance was not only at the shop working on Sunday, would sell and mount the tire for me THAT DAY...what I saw when I arrived was a genuine, old school bike shop from days gone by and I grabbed a few photos thinking I would maybe go a long time before I saw such a thing again...the owner was as crusty and gruff as you'd expect and gave me his '30-30 discount, i.e., 'Now, you have 30 seconds to get out of here and in 30 minutes I'll have forgotten ALL about you!'

I'm not going to post ALL the pics at once but a few at a time for a couple of days...
Maybe some of you will see something to bring a smile or memory...BTW, regarding the pic with the semi-trailers, those three trailers are FULL of more bike stuff...enjoy!
