Tent repair
« on: January 20, 2018, 05:41:33 PM »
My Ketly tent pole broke for my fly.  Garrented for life.  So for $10 I send it back.  When I got them back they would not bend about 160 deg. at 54 in..  So Off to Lows and got 1/4 in. PEX tubing.  Heated the old fitting and came right off and put them on the PEX tubing.  I think its golng to work really well.  $3.00 for that repair job.rudyr

Rudy,

I've used www.questoutfitters .com for the hardware (tubes and miscellaneous fittings) to make aluminum poles for tents and tarps.  High quality pieces in a variety of diameters and lengths.  Prices have been reasonable and they have been helpful in answering my questions.
