Since we're talking weather

Tornado on the ground near the Talimena State park where we have the Okie camp out . Pretty serious T storms all across Eastern OK . Hope the pavilion survives in the park , and the camp hosts are in a safe spot .

Well, we went from Frigid to Spring time in a couple days. Fortunately the central part had great weather this weekend, although the winds were blowing 25 gusting to 35. Hope things didn't get to destructive in the SE.

Got a dirt ride in Saturday morning before an oil change and service on the WR, then a Hogback road run on the FJ09 in the afternoon. Today was a new rear tire on the FJR, and of course a scrub in run of a dozen miles, before taking the GS on a hundred mile late lunch run to meet the wife. Been a while since I could have a nice weekend for bike stuff.
The best part of riding a motorcycle is to tilt the horizon and to lift the front coming out of a corner and to drift the back end powering thru loose dirt and to catch a little air topping a hill and... yeah it's all good!

Dusty, keep us posted as to the pavilion.

Dusty, keep us posted as to the pavilion.

Looks like the little twister missed everything , there was some localized flooding so the pavilion was likely an aquarium for a few minutes . Guessing the gators are still down in the low spots

Thanks Dusty.

I was worried about not having a covered area for the cappuccino machine Paul promised to bring.

Doesn't tornado season usually start in mid to late February?

Finally serviced the Greenie and installed an LED headlight.  Took it out riding the last couple of days.  I think we went from 7 on Tuesday morning to 70 today.

I'll start on the EV this week.

Tornados in SE OK?  Wow.

Oklahoma, it starts in late Winter, ramps up in Spring and Summer, slacks off a bit in fall and is a small threat through Winter. Repeat process. Never really goes away.

I've got a new one Prescott...it runs off a special Guzzi voltage inverter attached to a V7 (only V7 seems to work it properly), and produces the finest ground espresso coffee within a 2 mile radius of Talimena State Park!

If you can get permission from Sir Dusty to park the V7 under the covered part, I should be able to make coffee for about 15 people over a 48 hour period!   :1: :1:

You'll have to clear that with Doug , leave it to me it will be Dollar Store coffee , and consider yourself lucky to get that

That Dollar Store coffee can double as 15w fork oil, so don't throw out what's left at the end of the CV picnic, take it home, put in a CV branded bottle and sell it to the Guzzisti!  Shoot...I'll even help you with some official looking CV stickers you can put on the bottles!

Prescott - be sure to bring your own espresso cup...looks like we're down to 2 "real" coffee drinkers here!

We are getting dumped on..I came home to 15" fresh snow and got stuck in the driveway.. not with the Subaru, it was my crummy work car a Toyota rav.. so had to get out my blower to get it in the garage..even tho I have a plow service, they don't come out till it stops snowing and it's still coming down... took about 2 hours to go 15 miles from St Paul to home.
