GREAT prices on MG's!!!
« on: January 23, 2018, 10:37:20 AM »
I was wasting time looking through sites on my iPad last night. Basically anything MG oriented got my attention. Well, I ran across this site (https://www.eurocyclelasvegas.com) and couldn't believe what I was seeing. Maybe I'm too late to the party and this has been "discovered" already, but I don't recall seeing it listed by anyone else, so here's the information. I'm guessing that this dealer is leaving the MG world and is offering HUGE discounts! I was interested in a 2015 Griso. List price is $12,995 (5200 miles) and he's selling it for $7995, a $5000 discount! Has a 2017 V9 Roamer. List price is $9,995.00 and it's offered at $5,995 (325 miles), a $4,000 discount. He's selling this V9 cheaper than a V7! In all he has 42 Guzzi's. Some have EXTREME discounts and others have "only very good discounts"
I don't have a relationship with this dealer (he's in Las Vegas and I'm in New York), but when I saw these prices, I had to share it with everyone.
Hopefully I'll be a customer soon, but I don't think the Mrs. will allow it.  :undecided:
Best of luck if anyone buys anything. Remember where you heard it...maybe you can take me for a ride on your new one some day. :azn:
cheers,
Jack

We've seen some posts on this dealership before. A few former customers who are not happy with them, and a few who bought anyway because the deals were very good. I think that a few of the latter warned that, especially on new stuff, watch for fees, the prices might not be AS good in the end as they appeared initially but were still decent.

That said with that much inventory I wonder if he has something similar to the North Jersey dealer (Indian/Moto Guzzi/Motus/Zero) who supposedly has a LARGE inventory of bikes (including press, and marketing/product placement models) who is offering some deals (but none that see quite as large a discount as this, then again maybe they're more upfront about the pricing).

Lastly, the Griso is used right, and that sounds like market price... so maybe not that extreme. The Roamer sounds cheap though...

Both Laurie (Green1000S) and Bill Hagan have purchased Stornellos from them in the past year.

These Vegas guys will tack on $1500-$2000 in fees, depending on the bike, so not as cheap as they would have you believe. That said, you can still get a good deal if you go for one with a particulary huge discount. I’m not a fan of the deceptive advertising.

Even with their inflated fees, I spent a full $5k less on my Norge from the Vegas dealer than I would have spent locally, including the shipping even.

Each and every single time I have inquired for out the door prices on their bikes, that price was about the same as the local dealer.  They just post those prices to get attention and calls.  But notwithstanding some here "may" have gotten good deals with them.  Even still, I've gotten great deals from local dealers too when I came ready to buy and not just phone/email checking prices.

Also, they may be nice guys but one of their salesman is named Hollywood.  Just saying I wouldn't expect a real deal from anyone named Hollywood.

Cash works really well compared to having them arrange financing.  "Uh....what's the total price with the added fees?"  "Nah....."

Those are some good prices. Since those bikes have mileage on them, they are probably demo bikes, but still good prices. The dealer here discounts the demo bikes and leftover inventory bikes with no miles pretty nicely also. I just checked the site and they currently have the following leftover inventory.
2016 Black Moto Guzzi Eldorado ABS..no miles  $12900.
2016 Moto Guzzi Audace ABS..no miles  $12,900.
2016 Moto Guzzi V7 II Racer ABS no miles  $8600.
2017 Moto Guzzi V7 II Stone  no miles   $7900.
I purchased my 2016 Griso in 2016 with no miles from them for $11,400 plus their dealer fee or setup fee or whatever they want to call it was $300.

I left there this past Thanksgiving weekend with a new MGX. Listed price of $14,999 and $14,999 was on the bill of sale, average dealer prep fee, no tax in NV (and they gave me a nice receipt with a high trade-in price listed so taxes in AZ were less than $150 when I registered it).

For me, they gave me the price & prep fees before I went there and they were the same when I arrived there. Cannot speak for anyone else experience. They say their dealerships (I believe three of them) is the #2 or 3 MG volume dealer in the county and they have the ability to discount.

I have also bought a MG form the dealer in San Diego (https://www.gpmotorcycles.com/) and had a great experience there, and they have some decent discounts. As for the MG dealer here in AZ (Ride Now) - I wouldn't buy anything from them, they are truly crooks!

Anyway, everyone has their own dealer experience, just thought I would share mine since I just dealt with the guys at Euro Cycles Las Vegas and it went pretty well for me.

To put this in perspective, it wasn't all that long ago that the #1 or #2 dealer MG dealer in the country was a very nice gentlemen who basically ran it out of what amounted to little more than a shack in eastern Ohio. It didn't technically have a dirt floor, but it looked like it could (or maybe there was just a layer of dirt).

I don't know what it takes to be #2 or #3 today, but it wasn't much in gross numbers back then.

Yeah, who knows, it could be only 50 units annually to be #1 which would put a local HD dealer right out of business. I am sure that is why there are no stand alone Guzzi dealers, at least none that I know of, like there are HD or Indian, or the Japanese guys for that matter. I know our affection for the brand is not shared by the masses, but there isn't anywhere I go that people do not comment in a positive manor how great the bike looks, they must not like them enough to buy them, or know where to get one, and that can get into the lack of dealer support discussion and so on (I digress).

These guys did good by me, but they certainly could be shifty as well, it is Vegas after all.

I feel like I got a fair deal from Euro Cycle Vegas on my Stelvio.  Listed sale price $11,995 (new left over 2016), they came down to $11,495.  but their fees were up there and it was $765 to have Haulbikes LLC bring it to me across the country.  All in all it was $13,193.95 out the door including the haulbikes fee.  Not bad for 2 miles on the odometer and delivered to a truck stop 10 miles from me.

However, I will say this:  the PDI, if there was one, was light.  I went over myself real good and found a few minor things that a decent PDI should have correctly setup before letting it leave the dealership.

Sorry. I had never been to Speakers shop. But the guy would ride a demo bike all the way to the MD campouts on the eastern shore! Always enjoyed those weekends and had nothing but respect for him and his son!

I remember Joe passing and the shop being handled by the son but that was the last I knew.  I have to go dig up their phone number.  Thanks for the heads up.
