V7 Intake duct
« on: February 07, 2018, 02:29:04 PM »
Hi.

New Guzzi V7II owner- although it is not my first.
Was wondering if any U.K owners can help me out? I was looking over the bike at the weekend and something caught my eye.
The Y shaped rubber duct that connects the TPS to the intake manifolds had what looked like a brass take off point where the duct splits to form the Y.
It wasn't connected to anything but left open to the atmosphere.
My question is thus - should it be connected to something, or should it be blanked off? I have to add that the bike seems to run fine apart from feeling a bit lean on part throttle.
Thanks.

Clive

It is blocked off. If you poke something up there, you will find it goes nowhere. On US models, its drilled out for the charcoal canister vapour recovery system.
