I don't think I've ever won anything in my life ...... but just one more time .... one ticket only.  I need a good airhead to replace my GS.  But, with my luck, I shouldn't plan on it being this one!

If I was a lottery player I'd put in for this over that smallblock in the other topic ALL DAY.  But I'm not.

I do the 50/50 at club meetings as a way to donate to the group.  The closest I ever got to winning the pot was when I was at the same table as the winner.  So I call myself a "successful adjacent" gambler.  It's a good thing to know about myself.

I did however, truthfully, win the Stanley Cup one year.

It was at a rally -- I forget which one.  I got a ticket for registering and won a door prize.  The prize was a travel cup with the STANLEY logo on it.  I'll let you all connect the dots.  It's the only thing I ever won by "chance", and it brags up far beyond its weight.   :afro:  You've seen it, Chuck -- it's the cup I carry on the trike.

I can "skate" but I don't really have the ankles for it.

Well, that's a beautiful old Harley!  JJ, after nearly 160,000 miles on my 1991 R100GS, I can't imagine how pleasant it would be to own a totally rebuilt R90S.  I'd respect the fact that it is a 44 year old bike, but she'd get ridden ..... a lot!  Might want to go with electronic ignition, though.  Been a long time since I installed and gapped points!  And these bikes were equipped with Dellorito (sp?) carbs, not Bings, so they are at least breathing an Italian mixture of air and fuel!

Might have to bite the bullet and do a ticket or two on Phil's raffle, too.

You could attend the NM State Rally in Datil.  Everyone that's registered gets a chance at a Moto Guzzi that Matt puts back on the road.  The odds are low like a 50/50 raffle.
From the Deep Deep South out in left field.  There are no stupid questions.  There are however stupid people asking questions.  🤣, this includes me.  😉 Hawaii.

Uhh, I've won quite a bit over the years, and am kind of embarrassed to buy tickets. I think I'll just pass on this one. I rode one back in the day, and couldn't wait to get back on my Duck.

My brother had one. We used to ride together a lot and one Sunday we switched bikes for a while. Same thing - couldn't wait to get back onto my Le Mans 1000. Only problem was I couldn't get him off of it!
