any V7(3) owners fit a 130/100 rear ?

Just wondering if any V7(3) owners have fitted a 130/100-17 on the rear in place of a stock 130/80-17 ?

If i am correct, this should increase the overall diameter about 2 inches, and it looks like the clearance to the swingarm will accommodate.

I think that this will reduce the engine RPM about 284 RPM in top gear.

I don't have that particular size but I have an Avon Roadrider  140/80 - V17 on my V7III
This tire is almost touching the drive shaft tunnel, a business card won't fit between them, I did think about shimming it over a little bit but its not causing a problem.
It does slow the engine down to a point where the speedo is now quite accurate whereas it was reading 10% fast before.

i think that your 140/80 tire has an OD about 7/8 larger than a stock 130/80.
the 130/100 would actually have an OD about 2" larger than stock.

I am considering this change just to keep the revs down when on the highway. as i have found no option to change the rear drive ratio.
I don't need snappy acceleration as I prefer to put about, but In my opinion, the bike is working too hard at 75/80.
Did you notice much highway improvement with the 140/80 ?

I really only noticed the radar speed signs falling into line with the speedometer, it certainly made a difference there, I like having the accuracy.
I don't do a lot of highway riding, I tend to avoid it, but I think the V7 gears are quite tall.
It should be easy enough to calculate the difference 2" makes to the circumference.
The tire width dimension is important, as I said mine is almost touching the swing-arm on the RH side, i'm sure I will find the paint worn off, easy enough to shim it over a mm or two though.
