Ok, I admit it , I'm a CL motorcycle junkie.  Here's my picks of the week. Both cool bikes IMHO

The Ascot is a pretty cool little roadster. Although you don't see many on the road these days. I'm not sure i would classify it a collectors item, but wouldn't kick it out of the garage;)

First of all: Is the Kawasaki Vulcan a 2 fer 4K? That pair could be a circus/parade act.

2nd:  Honda's small V twin engines, updated for todays market apps could have a lot of appeal.
I liked a VTR250; known in these parts as the Barbie-ceptor. Methinx that platform would serve a range of 250 to 6 or 750cc bikes for every category.  R3~

My choice would be the Ascot...and it is a dead ringer for the new HD 500 / 750 Revolution models... :thumb: :1:

There are a lot of Japanese motorcycles that, for whatever reason, weren't popular when they were introduced but become sought after a decade or more later.  The Ascot definitely falls into that category.  4-5 years ago you could buy one for a thousand bucks.  That isn't usually the case today.  Nice ones are now 2000-2500.  They've got spindly front forks and the tank is way too small but they're great fun to ride.
