2016 Stellorno instruments
« on: May 06, 2018, 09:09:35 PM »
I have just purchased a 2016 Stellorno new from an out of state dealer. This was considered used in that state as it had two miles on it an was acquired from another dealer. It came with no owners manual. The info on line is not answering my question. Hoping you guy,s can. There is no mode switch. From what I have read you can change map,s with the starter button after th bike is started. My question is how do you access the rest of the digital dash, Clock, Temp, mileage etc. Maybe you can,t access that info but I thought some one here might know. Thanks Tom

Here is a service book, should be in there.  Greg also has owners manual there on his site too.

Thanks for the info guy,s. There is no actual button just a blank filler. I am wondering if you go through the starter button to access other functions besides the maps? Or am I just out of luck? Love the bike but would like to have access to some other functions. All the owners manuals I have read refer to the mode button I do not have. Seems strange to me. I will keep searching for an actual owners manual for this model. Thanks, Tom

I saw owners manual for Stornello over on GuzziTech site, look in downloads. I PM'd Bill, he may show up, he own's one.

EDIT   Here's part of it
In order to maintain the effectiveness of the MGCT system following the replacement
of one or both tyres or in the case of serious wear, causing a non-compliant behaviour
of the MGCT, a calibration procedure of the system must be performed as follows on
a straight flat stretch of road.
It is necessary that the diagnostic phase of the MGCT and ABS systems is complete:
for this purpose, after switching to (ON), ride a short distance above 5 km/h and wait
for the flashing of the two warning lights to stop.
Allow the engine to idle for at least 5 seconds.
Disable the MGCT control system by pressing the on / off button until the warning
light is steady lighting.
Pull the clutch lever while pressing the starter button (1) for at least 5 seconds. The
activation of the process will be confirmed by the MGCT warning light (2) turning on
with slow flashing.
Accelerate to a constant speed of 30 km/h and maintain it for at least to 8 seconds.
The permanence of the vehicle speed in the correct field to complete the procedure
will be confirmed by a very quick flashing of the MGCT warning light (2).
• The end of the procedure will be indicated by the MGCT warning light (2) turning off.
The MGCT system is active.
• Once the procedure is completed, it is necessary to switch to (OFF) and wait for at
least 60 seconds before being able to switch again to (ON).
• In case of failure to complete the procedure within 5 minutes, the MGCT warning
light (2) will stay on steady and the MGCT system will remain off until switching to
(OFF).
• To reactivate the MGCT system, it must be switched again to (ON). It is however
necessary to repeat the process until it succeeds.

Looks like you use the kill switch too.
