Ellspeth Beard talk

I just got home from the Ellspeth Beard chat in San Francisco. It was great! She's great! i have the book and have just started it. its a breezy, fascinating read. If you are lucky enough to have her come to your city go see her by all means. The place was packed tonight. I hear rumor that an interview with her by Kerri Dougherty will be coming in Citybike Mag. in a couple of weeks. It will take another few weeks thereafter for it to be posted on their website. I will let the list know when that happens. In the meantime get her book. It is entitled
Lone Rider.
She is an inspiration to us all.

I like reading motorcycle adventure and lone rider is one of the best I have read for a long time, she was a very brave young lady. A definite must read if you were hooning around on motorcycles in the 70s and 80s

We have her coming to our little local theatre in Bordon, Hampshire here in UK on Saturday 3 November. Hopefully we will have a full house to greet her.

Her book is interesting but a little to much personal romantic drama for me.

Elspeth Beard will be giving a presentation at Overland Expo, May 19th, in Flagstaff.
I just finished reading her book. What a gutsy woman, and a good mechanic also.
