New Cardo PackTalk Bold Communicator
« on: June 27, 2018, 06:54:46 AM »
Anyone considering new electronic  communicators should check out the new voice-activated Cardo Packtalk Bold.

I recently bought a pair to replace my old Sena units and I have been very satisfied.  I posted a review on Adventure Rider here-

Very informative...thank s for the write up.

Have been using the Cardo Scala rider now for a while and it's quite good...I can imagine stepping up to this technology would be even better.

One question...did you have to swap out the speakers in the helmet from your prior set and just connect the head unit or also swap out the speakers?

The Packtalk Bold comes as a set with speakers and both boom and wired microphones.  They have upgraded their audio performance and the new speakers are a part of that upgrade.

I am not sure that the new communicators would attach to the old speakers but that is not anything that I would want to do. Besides, these Packtalk units replaced old Sena units that I had.

The Mesh technology is impressive and the voice operation feature is very handy.
