47th annual Kansas Moto Guzzi rally .

Santa Fe trail Cove pavilion at the Fed reservoir near Council Grove KS .
Camping fee is $15.00 for Fri and Sat , early arrivals will need to pay at the entrance gate for Thurs .
All facilities at the park .
Sat night meal is provided as usual .
Local lodging info at councilgrove.com . or 800 732 9211 .

This is a beautiful venue with some great roads and local attractions nearby...this one is always going to be on my 'must do' list...

Reservations at the Cottage House have been made and we will be there rain or shine. After many trips to the Grove we never have grown tired of this the event. Memories of Dave K. and so many other friends abound along with the good times. Great thanks to JB and company for keeping this classic Guzzi gathering going.

Not a large gathering, but a very friendly bunch of people. Nice place, good food, nice riding in the area.

Historically the KS rally has always been on the first weekend of June but due to campsite scheduling it will be held a couple of weeks later. The first weekend of June is a significant biplane fly in held at Junction City which is about an hour ride from Council Grove and a nice ride.

There is another biplane fly just NE of Wichita the same weekend as the new date. It mostly is a Stearman thing.

I've attended this rally for years. I will always remember this as the David Kasitz rally. What a great guy and great host. Here is a video I put together for the memorial rally. Glad to see the tradition continue. Always a good time.

Thanks for the pictures. The first picture was us modifying a clutch cable we got from a yamaha dealer in Manhattan to fit my v7 special. I know I should carry a spare but that one didn't have but 10k miles on it. Anyways modified one got me home.
It sure was a hot one but thankfully the unbearable wind took care of the heat. Eats were good as was the company.

I could only visit on Saturday. Went to Benton, Ks for a fly-in/car show, then on to Council Grove.

Ribs, potato and sides for sat eve meal. Jeff did it up good!
