Leave it to me, I'll look into it....

There's was a thread a little while ago about putting mirrors on the fairing versus handlebars.
I initially reversed the standard stems which wasn't too bad, but too narrow. Some judicious use of some 1/2" bar and a home made jig, resulted in all this. Much better field of view..

So I'd be now able to see the inside of my elbows. If so, it will be an improvement from only being able to see my shoulders [emoji41]

I’m so glad you have the time to play with your bike,I’m impressed with the look. Did it do anything to reduce the vibration of the mirror and improve the visibility of objects that are closer than they appear? And are you going to go into production of the final project to make them plug and play. Thinking about this as a kit form with links would be great to give my wife or kids when they ask what do I want for my birthday would be nice. My birthday is in August so there’s no hurry.

The original re fitment with the reversed standard stems reduced the (sub 160 k) vibration, to the point where you could (just) read a number plate in the mirrors @ 100 k's, however as Paul Brooking correctly says, the field of view was unacceptable.
In all honesty, I haven't used the new arrangement yet on the road, but I'm sure that they'll be just as clear, they are only 40 mm wider each side and the stems are damped to reduce vibration.
Time will tell.
No, I've not got any interest in producing kits or similar, but it's not a difficult process.
I'll elaborate if asked.
