Californian 650

Long shot here.  I recently saw an old 650 sitting in a field.  I do not need another bike but was wondering if anyone has made on/off dirt road scrambler out of these.  Sorry I have no pics to share.  Could not even find a pic that looked like it on the mother web.

   It would help if I read the whole thread.  I just saw the V65C comment above.

Clearly I should have done more research or at least taken some pics before posting.  The closest looking heads are from the Cali EV but I know that it's not that big a bike.  I live in northern vt and the bike I saw was in southern part of the state.  Next time I'm there I will get better information.

Nice shop!  Yes I believe we have a winner.  The heads look right although grass was growing all around and into the bike.  In sad shape for sure.  Thanks for all the input.
