Eagle rider experience
« on: July 14, 2018, 11:17:39 AM »
Anybody have experience with Eagle rider rentals?
I reserved a Triumph Tiger in march for August for my son to meet me in Portland so my two sons and I could do a week ride together.
Yesterday I was checking my dates and all and realized the reservation had my old credit card that had been compromised on it so I called to update my info and was emailed a new confirmation showing the tiger.  a little while later I get a call from the Portland manager that the don't rent Tigers and only rent Harleys.  I am so mad I can't see straight. Motoquest has all their bikes in Alaska.  I have a call in to Northwest Motorcycle adventures to see if they have something.  Anybody know of any other rentals in the Portland area to rent.  Looking for a ADV if possible.

I rented a BMW F700 a few years back in the Tacoma area:  a couple hours north of Portland.  I'll look for the name and get back to you in a few.

We got a Wing in Vegas.  Had a wonderful experience.  Most of the Eagle Riders are HD only.

Rented a late model BMW R1200RT for a week, from a company near the Portland airport...can't remember their name...but it was not Eagle Rider.  Good experience overall!! :thumb:

As an aside John, have you given any more thoughts on touring NZ again?
