Loctite Thread Repair Kit report
« on: July 30, 2018, 06:35:11 AM »
Although most reviews say it won’t work in every situation, it did work for a stripped thread on the head of my T3 for an 8mm intake bolt. The bolt almost fell out from the head threads being stripped, my fault since I used too long of a bolt. For $20 I thought I’d give this a try since for 8mm Loctite claims the repair should hold 45 ft lbs torque. It worked, and the bolt threaded in nice and tight and held tight after a 50 mike ride.

45 ft/lbs?

When I tried it, I thought it was pretty mediocre. Glad it worked.

License to lie not required. Easy to tell when a salesman is lying because his lips move.
