1200 4 VALVE HICCUP
« on: August 27, 2018, 02:16:50 PM »
On the last few rides, after 5-10 minutes at highway speed, my 2013 Stelvio has a singular, momentary interruption of power. It's as if the FI cuts out for a nano second.  While it only happens once, it is still disconcerting. Has anyone else experienced this?  (My bike has new caps and iridium plugs.)

Sounds familiar, put the bike on the stand and with the engine idling check the wiring and connectors by wiggling and prodding them. If the problem is a connector or wiring it is a quick way to find out. My 12ooS had a connector problem near the ECU and the Griso had insulation worn behind the seat.

And while you're at it, check the the ignition switch (fiddle with the wires while idling), and the kill switch & sidestand cut off to eliminate them from consideration.
