Disappointed, is that like wouldnt have one? That a nice collection at good prices
There's not a bike made that I wouldn't have. Pay a premium for is another matter. I kept my nephews Star 650 classic for a year while he was overseas and rode it once in a while to keep it moving and although I wouldn't buy one, I told myself that if that was all I could afford I would be happy with it. If it has an engine and two wheels I'm good with it.
Plenty of machines I have no use for. Not worth the floor space in my garage.
I have no use for any motorcycles. They are my toys. I have a use for my tractor, chain saw, truck, etc. Motorcycles serve no useful purpose. I could fit about 30 in my garage. If only I could buy one plate and move it to the bike I am currently riding. That is the one thing that keeps me from having too many bikes. $100 a piece every year adds up quick.
Pennsylvania is inexpensive. $19 per year for non-antique and one time fee of $120+/- for an antique registration. Insurance wasn't all that bad either running about $70 per year per bike with not a lot of coverage. But it all add up and 4 antique and 5 modern bikes at one time was my breaking point. Not so much monetarily but there were a whole lot of bikes only getting ridden 150 mile per year and mostly sitting around sucking up space. Also ranking them in a 2 car garage the ones in the back tended to stay in the back as it gets to be a PIA to move 6 bikes around to access one. Now down to 5 and still want to move a couple more. As each year comes to pass I'm finding less is more. 1st world problems are hard
I'm jealous. Here you can get a vintage/antique/classic plate at 25 years, but there are strict stipulations on when and where you can ride it. I found that 6 bikes was my limit. I've had 8 at one time because I was buying before selling. Now I am down to 2 street bikes and one vintage trials bike and trying to fight off the urge to add another bike since I am no longer commuting or touring on two wheels my riding has dropped substantially from the average of 25,000 miles a year I was putting down for the past 10 years.
Probably upgraded plug wires and boot on the V7. There are issues with stock.I see some smokin hot deals. For example, bet you can buy that Instant Guzzi Collection as a package deal. Centauro, EV and V11 Sport for around $10K. Hows that NOT a deal?
Its because most Guzzi owners are cheapskates. They want to pay lowball prices until its time to sell their bike(s). The ones that arent cheap have the nice bikes in their garage.

Thankfully, none of my customers seem to fall into the cheapskate category or I wouldn't be in business still.
