https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E77xZhVzR4cA follow up on the issue with my 2015 1400 tourer throwing the URGENT SERVICE code, I think I have an acceptable conclusion. After much research and accumulated information from some of the guys here I have determined that if your bike is throwing this code (PO155) on a regular basis you more than likely have a bad TPS/demand sensor. If you watch this utube clip, that I have included, it will be obvious that there is not much physically that can cause this sensor to malfunction however I'm sure it has happened to folks in the past. If this is the case one should be able to produce the default signal by pulling on the cables, turning the bars from stop to stop etc. if the URGENT SERVICE warning is thrown when the bike is simply started or simply ridding the road, the sensor is bad or going bad, replace it. I have found the there was a recall a few years back on these sensors so they can definitely go bad even on newer low mileage bikes like mine. The replacement new can be between 350 and 450 bucks, used ones can be found much cheaper.
These sensors are not produced by the Moto Guzzi factory's or any company owned the related Moto Guzzi ownership companies. Just thought I'd offer a conclusion to my first post on this issue, I hope it helps someone with this issue in the future and thanks for all who assisted me with this issue.
