I've been working on getting my daughter on a motorcycle.  She rode her brother's Scarabeo and loved it.  I offered to buy her a Vespa but she said she needed more room so her Catahoula hounds could go (and to buy them food).

Lately I've been looking at decent sized motorcycles with sidecars ........

Maybe I'll just buy a Vespa for "me" and ask her to store it for me.  Of course she would have to run it once in a while......

My wife asked me for a scooter after her trip to Vietnam this year and I said; "Sure all you have to do is go to the DMV and take the test for a learners permit."  It's been 6 months now and no permit.   admittedly it is asking a lot for a Californian to go to the 4th level of Hell called the DMV

I admit it, I'm a an old missionary from the church of two wheels.

Strange. I've only gone once, (for a VIN check) and the guy that did it was cheerful, filled out the paperwork, and sent me on my way.

Well written.  Not surprisingly, what she says are the reasons she (and other women) ride are exactly the same reasons I ride a motorcycle (and suspect most others do too).

Cleaned up for clarity. Good to see more ladies involved in motorbiking.
