If all goes well, this one will be mine on Monday...  I've seen the bike in person, agreed on a price and put down a deposit.  Final purchase subject to my test ride...

If you need some help riding down to FL to pick it up let me know, I'd be happy to ride along and assist.

My hand osteoarthritis is trying to convince me to stop riding. I’m trying to convince it that a Convert would be the logical conclusion.
Opinions here?

Right now there's nothing on the Guzzi line I'm interested of. (having a Stelvio and Stornello)
However, I might consider old Ambo/Eldo...

If the factory builds a street going version of the V85TT I would consider that. A bike with a bigger frame than the V7lll. Maybe the Roamer fits that parameter but I have never seen one. They have, what few there are, have all been too far away. I would trade my Audace and V7 for something in between. The Audace is starting to get too heavy for me but I would like something a bit bigger than the V7 for touring not that the V7 can't do it. Just something a bit bigger but not at the big block level.

Very tempted to get a California Vintage:

But I'd have to sell a bike to make room for it and just can't part with any right now.

As a Stelvio owner, a bike built somewhat to the same concept as a V85TT, that take seems strange to me.

As we were searching for a two-up transcontinental tourer, we test-rode everything from Honda ST1300s to Kaw Voyagers to Harley Road Glides to Guzzi EV Tourings .... but once we rode a Stelvio, we realized that it was the bike for us.   Since then, we've put about 60,000 miles on it, and it's the best street bike I've ever had.    Best on the big highways, best on the blue highways, best on the back roads.

What is it, in your experience, that makes the V85 not a "street" bike?   It sure doesn't look like a trail bike to me!

Anyone who has ever had to turn one of today's "Adventure tourer" bikes around on a single track trail will quickly realize it's no "trail bike" I won't get off the two track on the Tiger. It's NOT fun to me.

Too tall for one thing. Needs to have more of a classic look, one reason I went with the Special for my second bike. Just not into the styling. My Audace is about as radical as I can get. After all I am old, as in old school. See the how old are you thread.
