There are two sides to every coin. Yes, the cost of the meds can be outrageous, and some of it is just plain poison. On the other hand, think of all the diabetics, folks with high bp, etc., who have added years to their lives because of the meds. AND, now the local cannabis industry is  becoming highly monetized (taken over by big business).    There is a 15% tax on weed products here in Tulsa, and some of the shyte is 280 bucks an ounce....

Shorty, that's my point. People should have the option to be treated with whatever they wish. MM, pharma, prayer and fasting, or nothing at all.

It's my own personal body. I should be the one to decide what I want to put into it.

 Dunno , about 12 years ago my blood pressure got high , the VA prescribed pills , then more for other things , 10 pills a day for this and that , got up one morning and being me , forgot to take any of them . Noticed no change , then began wondering if any of them were helpful . Started tracking BP and blood sugar about once a week , guess what , a couple of changes made the difference that no pills could . BP is good , blood sugar is in acceptable range . Not saying in some cases pills don't help , but walking 20 minutes everyday , and some other light exercise can't hurt either . Plus, for whatever reason , I can remember to walk almost everyday , keeping up with pills is impossible for me

Something I found interesting about THC and drug testing.  The testing protocol does not test for THC, but the alkaloid our body produces to digest the THC.  The alkaloid remains in the body tissue for a long time after exposure to THC.  A person may not under the influence, but has marker residuals of past usage. 

High THC marijuana has a low CBD content and high CBD marijuana has low THC levels.  In Kentucky, they are growing high CBD, low THC plants as part of an economics and agricultural program in preparation of legalization.  Getting high and getting better are two different purposes from two different strains of the marijuana plant.

A guy I work with using "Kratom" and swears by it. I think it's legal in all states, no medical card or anything needed. I don't know how it compares to the CBD oil though.

Edit: Research it though, it's unregulated and probably messes up everything else in your body. I think CBD oil is safer from what I know.
