...bet that bike has a few stories to tell....add power and fresh gas she might start! Who knows? That would look great rusting in the A) mud room B) roof of the garage C) sprayed w rhino liner and hung by chains outside as a "weather motorcycle"

Rare fairing, police wiring on the right, top end fairings and saddlebags at the time, great rig of the day

I think the bike is kool! If your could get it running and make it safe to ride I would not change a thing, except for the seat. No restoration for this one. It’s beauty is in the rust and age.

Could be but the speedo isn't marked as such...also the front crashbars have provisions for the little wings...don't remember any T3's having those...but I wake up in a new world everyday

Absolutely! Clean the crap out of the tank, screw in some new plugs, and see if it'll start. If it does, and doesn't catch fire, change all the fluids, throw on some new brakes and a set of tires, and ride it till the cows come home!

Yep, I can't believe we used to put top boxes like that on our bikes .... that's massive ....

Just WOW, and I don't just mean the price he's asking. From Ohio: I can just see the imagery of a tiny detached garage with this thing leaning up against the north side so it gets NO sunlight for those 28 yrs leaning there.....regularly wet, snowy and rainy weather except for the insanely humid summers....just occasionally mow the grass around it, and let the old tires, dead batteries, and broken plastic kiddie pools from the kids and grandkids pile up around it....

I use those same Calafia Fats bags on my Cal II, they're awesome. I also had a similar tourpak on my old Convert, which is what this beast looks like except for the sidecovers and 5-sp. It was then that I decided to step up to the Cal II for it's longer swingarm, because that tourpak loaded to the max with a rider on the back moved the CG juuuust enough to make the front-end light....washed the front tire a couple of times on slow, wet, city streets and scared the hell out of me (and the rider).
