Everything's got a name these days, preferably a doomsday one ...

"Winter Storm Elisha!"

"Super Wolf Blood Moon!"

"BOMB Cyclones!"   AAAAAH, HELP WE'RE ALL GONNA DIEEEEE ....

I blame 24 Hour Weather Channel coverage.

The eclipse is just getting started but I'm getting sleepy ...

It's 8:40 here and I can't tell any shadow yet.  Possibly just a little dimming on the upper right hand side of the moon.  Will keep watching.

I saw it a little last night while in the plow around 7:30-a small break in the clouds.  Very nice!

I happened to be up at midnight (Guzzi content) and stepped out to see the moon.   Dark red moon shining through a clear spot in the clouds, very impressive ....

Super - at times the moon appears larger than at other times, thus "super"
Blood - at full eclipse, the moon appears red, thus "blood"
Wolf - I think this is what the first full moon of the new years is called.  Am I right here?

It is rare all these occur at the same time.

It looked gray here, Bev said it looked blue.  We didn't see red this time.

Very bright and clear night but too cold to stay out for long.
