Yeah, the rear was 4 years old, the front 3. Both they and the tubes were installed in 17.

When did they start putting dates on tires? I was buying 20 Goodyear All-traction tires at a time back in the late 70"s that didn't have a date or a arrow for the direction.

They started about 5 minutes after the law firm of Dewey, Cheatham, and Howe wrote a letter saying "Nice tire company you have there.   Be a shame if something happened to it .... !"

It *would* be good for Cedar Vale, but it won't fit in the van. It's just going to be our local and day trip 2 up bike.

*Almost* anything..  :smiley: I have to take the mudguard reflector off the Mighty Scura.. If it has bigger than 17" wheels, that would take some serious van mods. Nope. Not going to happen..
