I'm liking how this was done, at least from this angle. Is this made from various Guzzi models, and of so, which, or is this more of a custom-custom job? Looks like an EV engine, that's all I've got.. and not even sure I'm right about that.

I spy a v11 sport w carc rear drive model dressed in LeMan 850 body work tank and side covers...seriously great looking aftermarket seat, all w great paint and clearcoat

Its a v11 with le mans clothes. Looks good. Just as it was made this way, wonder how hard it was.

I had a neighbor in Albuquerque in the nineties who bought an 1100 cc injected Big Block and put it in a Tonti frame with V7 Sport bodywork. He even had the swan-neck handlebars! He put up-to-date suspension and brakes on it, but it really looked a great deal like the original. Dang, I wish I could remember his name...he was really a talented fabricator and lover of Italian bikes, exotic drill motors, and promotional ink pens.

Very cool! I could ride that for about fifteen minutes and my arms, shoulders, knees, legs, and ass would be screaming.
I’ve seen many models of Guzzis chopped up to make sport bike/cafe racer looking things but I haven’t seen hardly any cool bobbers or customs.
Guess I may have to find some old Cal III, EV, Jackal or some such and cut it up and make a bobber...

Someone did a fantastic job on that bike. I wish Guzzi would make something like that, but me and only 3 others would buy it.

Yes this is the direction Guzzi has to go with a new retro LaMan. Look how Kawasaki redid their Z1. Classic look with current suspension. In order to sell the ergonomics would have to be a compromise also.

you'd probably need a timing cover from a loop frame and then wouldn't have the alternator, or alter the frame mounting lugs.. if you use the V11 cover it might hit the fender on fork compression.

I sold a convert frame to a guy who was going take the top of it so he could make a Centauro with Lemans body work. I wonder how it came out.

Definitely a kick ass bike but not carc; looks like standard issue V11S...
Haven't ever ridden a 6 speed cause I would buy the next one I saw.

Though I think the V11 still has the generator mount casting on top, so with the old timing cover, I guess it could be very straightforward (apart from fitting the fuel injection electronics and everything...). Plenty of people fitted a car/tractor generator on a loop frame instead of the old original generator, and it would give way more power than a stock V11 does, so that should not be a problem (I think even the stock V7 loop frame generator made more power than the later crank mounted ones). A friend is selling a crashed V11 Le Mans for 1500€, and it makes me wonder... Probably not worth fixing it as a V11 (completely broken front end...), but the engine is still fully functional and not damaged at all.

I'd check that very carefully. Spineys, especially V11's don't crash well and the front of the motor especially is very fragile. They have been known to crack their timing chests just falling off the sidestand awkwardly.

Having said that I usually find these 'Trans-generational' efforts bloody horrible. That attempt is superbly executed and looks the absolute biz. Infinitely better than yet another chopped up old T3 built from the Stein Dinse catalog. Hate the exhaust wrap but otherwise a solid 10.

Very nicely converted V11 LeMans.

Love the seat over tank aesthetic, and I'm impressed at how they were able to level the tank and bodywork given the spine frame. I wonder what that tank looks like underneath?

I dont know about the ground clearance, isn't the V11 sump quite a bit deeper than the Loop? may run into issues there. DonG

add my name to the list of folks who like this bike. well done. i would really like to see a close/r up pic of the rear fender. it seems to be doing an odd sort of wraparound from the rear frame. maybe its just the picture but i don't recall having seen anything like that before. this is one of the better examples of a frankenbike.

my faves seem to drift toward the eccentric. the 1930 henderson streamline custom and the aeromacchi chimera are two of my faves. (i tried posting pics of them from google images but had trouble - so here are the links:
