The weather finally broke!

Looks like spring is finally on the way. After the severe storms last night, today was dry and hit 70 degrees. Got out for a ride this afternoon, but I had to be very careful because of all the gravel and branches on the back roads from the flash flooding.
Found a graffiti-ed up box car and run down factory for a few photos.

It stormed and rained cats and dogs on Saturday, and then the skies parted and the sun came out and we got in about 60 miles in sunny and 62 degrees - with 50 mph wind gusts.
THAT was an adventure.

'Broke" here too....all the way up to like 45 or so. Got an hour ride in with my college son and his DR 350 - the bike that cannot be killed.

I rode for about an hour yesterday evening (thank you DST). Had lunch with some friends, did a little shopping and then home and an enjoyable ride on the Convert. Nowhere exciting, just some familiar backroads, but it was nice to get out again.
Italian sandwich...
Along the C&O Canal and Potomac River. Harper's Ferry, WV on the other side.
The War Correspondents Memorial Arch, Gathland State Park, about a mile from home.

The weather finally broke? I'll be one of us can fix it. Still waiting out here - I'm not allowed to complain about rain (state law) but looking forward to spring - funny, just renewed Josie's registration online.

That's the combustion chamber of the turbo shaft. It is supposed to be on fire. You just don't usually see it but the case and fairing fell off.

Did some riding as well..Sunday solo trip to Lynchburg, TN and yesterday to and from work. For the most part if above 37 degrees and no rain I commute to and from work.
