Sold my sons motorcycle. Now it’s headed to Russia.

Russia's a funny place for motorcycles, nothing like here.   You can watch home-made videos of Russian bike rallies, for example, and count the number of choppers built out of car tires, GAZ truck engines, and water-pipe frames, seems to be a local hobby there.   

No telling what kind of sensation a pretty Suzuki might cause at the local ride-in ... !

 True. Cost of shipping alone has to be in the thousands. Not sure though. Motorcycle only had 7,400 miles on it.

A few years ago I sold my son's CR85R and a Russian guy came by and snatched it up to fill a container with small dirt bikes to sell in Russia.  Guess there's a big market there?

Have to admit that the used market for cars and motorcycles is relatively cheap.
