I think of it as a discussion-like we are sitting around with a beer after a nice ride.  Hard to interpret text inflections, is it not?
The customer wants what they want.  So be it.  The OEM shocks on my 15 V7 Stone were absolutely unrideable at any speed.  A standard frost heave here in the Northeast at 40 mph would literally kick me right off the seat.  I knew going in that they would require remove and replacement.  Mattered not.  The bike has now become my favorite bike by a mile.
