If you have any water lingering around in your tank a siphon hose can easily be poked around to get it out. I would consider running fuel with ethanol for a while to soak up any water that can't be siphoned out. Changing the fuel filter would be on my short list too. If the gas cap let in a bunch of water I would inspect it closely as the water may have carried some crap into it which is causing the vacuum issue. Mike
