Scissor style lift or support stand.

I'm looking for one of those small scissor lifts like I have seen used on those roll on bike lifts to support the engine. It looks like a little 12X10" table that has a lift.

I found what I think I'm looking for, but at about $50. That's a bit more than I would like to pay. I tried HF, they don't have them.

Anyone know of a better price?

Hera e is one from Amazon with free shipping but it is above your price point. Might as well get the Harbor Freight lift with a discount coupon for a little more and have the wheels to move the bike around while off the ground.

That is one of the ones that I found. fleabay has a blue one for about the same price.

I'm hoping that someone knows of one at a cheaper price.

That's about as cheap as you'll find one. When I was looking for one, they weren't even that cheap and shipping was extra.

I've been using a scissors jack from a Toyota - cost me nothing and works well for how I use it.

Only way to get it cheaper is Craigslist or a garage sale.  Those are pretty cheap.

There is a point where low price trades off utility.  I’d get the $58 version if only because it is going to be wider and thus more stable.  You will also find that those car scissors jacks have a lot more friction since they cheap out on the bearing surfaces.  I have tried both approaches.  The car jack was free but it went into the trash after just a couple uses.  My ultimate choice would be aluminum so it would be a bit lighter....and more expensive.

TBH, 50 US for a portable lift is pretty decent price...

most of the one in Canada is roughly 100+

either that or you can reverse engineer one and build it yourself :P

I was hoping that there was one for less and I was just using the wrong search term. $50 I guess is the going rate. For how much I would use it at this time, I'll stick to my floor jack for now.

go to a wrecking yard and get a scissor jack out of a wreck weld a plate on it to make it wider at the top. I also weld a 3/8 drive 1" extension in where you wind it from so I can use my 40 year old SK 3/8th drive speed handle to wind it up & down

I still have not bought one yet. My friend did buy one like in the picture, it's sold under many names and prices. He loves it. Might just have to borrow it and then HAVE to have one
