This is a forum for discussion about Guzzi primarily....and other bikes...You get opinions if you present something like an 750 pound bike. Some here including me don't care for large heavy bikes..Some here even have bad opinions about Moto Guzzi...

My riding buddy up here had an earlier Rocket III, (like this photo), and he liked it.

He sold it for an Indian Roadmaster, (which he also likes a lot...), but he says he is interested to see if Triumph accessorizes this new model with a windshield and bags for touring. :thumb:

You're right.

And we're always looking for another bike to rag on when we get tired of ragging on Harleys.

I think we proved:

Or at least, keeps you staggering along.

I just wanted to follow up on this.

I went to see Don, the local service guy that has taken on the Guzzi business here.   I needed a new rear tire my Duc.  I noticed that he has three Rocket triples in his service bay.  Two were even identical down to the color.

Why do you have all these Rocket Triumphs here?

The local dealer sends me Triumphs and Ducatis that they don't want to or can't work on.

Sounds like you found the right service guy.   :thumb:

I saw a Rocket going down the road the other morning holding up traffic.     You would think that someone who buys a bike like that would at least keep up with the flow.

I'm curious why the engineers limited the fork turning on these monsters. My gut feeling is that it may be so that if you gave it a handful of fun at a standstill ,  there would be less of a chance of embarrassment . It does make it hard for me to do a tight circle,  weather pushing around the garage or riding in a parking lot.
