Looks like my brother and I are going to invade Arkansas June 8 and 9. Plan is to head down MO 19 on the 7th and get to somewhere in N.W. Arkansas that night. Run around for 2 days then go home on the 10th. So any information on the area would be helpful.

 Lots of good riding in NWA , except for that pesky 55 MPH speed limit on 2 lane roads . HW 23 is fun but can be busy , the old HW 71 from Fayettville down to Alma is almost deserted now due to a new bypass , you can have it almost to yourselves . HW 48 from Noel MO down to Siloam Springs AR is fun also .

MO-19's Southern Terminus is at Thayer MO / Mammoth Spring AR, so North Central Arkansas is where you'll be.

Are you planning to ride west from there??

The riding opportunities are pretty much endless in Southern Missouri and Northern Arkansas, all the way from Mammoth Spring westward.  Look for the State Routes.  They're better than the US Routes.

Here's a pretty fine loop for you:

From Mammoth Spring:
AR-9 to Allison,
AR-14 to Marshall,
AR-27 to Tilly,
AR-16 to Sand Gap,
AR-7 to Lurton, 
AR-123 to Piercetown,   AR-123 between Lurton and Mt. Judea is one of the best anywhere.  Be careful it can bite you.
AR-74 into Jasper.  Food, Lodging, and Fuel available in downtown Jasper.  Cool little village.  Fun place to stay.

A full day from Jasper:
AR-74 to Ponca - Just before Ponca, take a detour down to Steel Creek on the Buffalo River.  It's paved and worth it.
AR-43 to Boxley - Watch for elk along the way through Boxley Valley.
AR-21 to Fallsville
AR-16 to St. Paul
AR-23 to Cass - Just south of Cass is Turner Bend Store.  Deli sandwiches and fuel available.  It's a popular moto stop.
AR-215 to Oark.  You should eat at Oark General Store.  They also have fuel, if needed.  Really cool place for lunch.
AR-103 to Clarksville - Big town with all services available.
AR-164 to AR-123
AR-123 to Sand Gap - This is a mighty fine section of twisties with little traffic.
AR-16 to Tilly
AR-16/27 South to AR-16 East to Clinton.  Plenty of food and fuel available, if needed.
AR-9 north to Mountain View.  This is a cool town with plenty of food, lodging and fuel, and where I'd tie up for the night.

Anyway you cut it, Harrison would be a good spot which is about 20 miles N of Jasper and has several hotels. 

I used to ride with a group that stayed in an inexpensive hotel in Yellville which is about 30 miles east of Harrison and is a little closer from where you're coming from.  Also in the area from there is Push Mtn Rd (Hwy 341) (it's a famous road but not as technical at Mt Judea which is must ride).  There used to be a good Mexican Joint in Mountain View- which us great place to people watch on the town square on weekends along with Ozark Music Folk Center.

There are a lot of beautiful roads down there.  Beware that some have "chip and seal" surfaces.  The chips accumulate at the road edges such as where you turn into a gas station.  They are like ball bearings.  Don't ask how I know.
Be sure your tires are good.  Last trip down I had Michelin Pilot Roads on the Sport 1100i.  They are hard center and softer edges for better cornering grip.   The center of the tread was good, after 2 days the sides of the tire went to cord due to the abrasive nature of the roadway.

You can't go wrong doing that. The best part? No frost heaves.  The Kid was amazed at the *smooth* roads. Glad you had a good time, Paul.. but you were bound to.

        Trip didn't go anywhere near as planned but I still had a great time.  Left friday way later then intended. Could have made it to Harrison but a few flooded roads and change of route due to nasty rain we ended up in Mountain Home, AR.
        Rode to Harrison and had to fix oil filter cap leak on our friends Virago, ultra grey RTV to the rescue. We had decided we were going follow the 4 routes posted here but my brother's Harley decided it didnt want to load them. So we just picked some roads on a map that looked the squiggliest. So we road 7 down to Hot Springs then over to 9 and back up to 16 to Fairfield Bay. Stayed there for the night, really nice place. 
         Next day we rode 16, awesome road my favorite in Arkansas, all the way to 23 and north to 76 in Mo. Other than going through Branson at 4pm on a Sunday hwy 76 was best part of the whole trip. Ended up in Cabol for the night.
         Last day was rough. Very windy out. Headed up 63 and made it to Houston and my brother's Harley has the coolant temp light come on. Cold air coming through the radiators like no coolant circulation. After taking thermostat out and water pump apart found the water pump had quit. Loaded the Harley in a Uhaul and headed straight home.
         Didn't take any pictures. Was to busy enjoying the amazing roads.
