I just saw the replay, only hint, it was a real crashfest.

Never did like Jorge but like him even less now if that's possible. Honda should dump him.

I am not a Jorge fan but it was hard racing in a tight area.  Perhaps he was little aggressive since his season has been so bad?  But go down the field and you'll see lots of aggressive and boneheaded moves.  I read that Rossi said the track had lost half its grip since last season.  Something was going on with mojo.

Yeah it was a racing incident and I agree he saw a chance to get up towards the front in a so far forgettable season and overreached.  Watching the replay from the helicopter it was bad luck for Rossi who IMO was going hot into that corner after passing Petrux, I think he was destined to run wide barring any incident in front of him and had he not been going that fast may have been able to turn under all the mayhem.

I agree with that assessment on Rossi. In the post race comments Rossi said he was too hot after going past Petrux and couldn't avoid the pile up. I'm wondering if "almost" all weren't going in too hot. Dovi started wide (and got on the binders hard?) as MM went inside on the proper line passing him quickly. We all know JL closed on Dovi very quickly and couldn't get stopped without loosing the front, as MV went around Dovi on the outside before Dovi got taken out.

The early crash just seemed to take the air out of the race. Only fun part after the crash was watching Fabio, Danilo and Alex fighting for second. Fabio is the new Zarco. I can't help pulling for him to win a race.
The best part of riding a motorcycle is to tilt the horizon and to lift the front coming out of a corner and to drift the back end powering thru loose dirt and to catch a little air topping a hill and... yeah it's all good!
