Hopefully the first of many succesful meetups
« on: July 20, 2019, 08:17:29 PM »
It's a heavy night on the board, so on a happier note, we had a good, succesful meetup at the Nut Hut in Altoona, KS, today. Good laughs, beautiful bikes, and good eats. We even got one attendee who hated mountain oysters to try one and admit that the Nut Hut does them well.

Some of us are hoping to make this kind of thing a regular event in the 4 states area, rotating through each state, with every meetup. I'll be posting a thread before the end of the weekend to get some input and ideas from the members in this area, so keep an eye out!

The Hoppin' Nut Basket served with a side and their house made sauce. Delrod got his with fried mushrooms.

The four Guzzi weirdos who made it, aside from myself.

Ain't that a pretty sight?

Those fries need a ladle of gravy on them

Even without gravy, they were darn good. Home fries that were fresh cut from honest to goodness real potatoes.

That was fun JC! Thanks for taking the ball and running with it!

Those nuts really were a pleasant surprise, VERY GOOD, those people know their way around some reproductive organs!  I'd recommend the place to anyone passing through Kansas.

We had a nice ride home-cooler temps at dusk and we didn't see any four legged fur bearing antlered pests.

I took a couple of pics on the way west @ Spencer, Mo. on the mother road, Rt. 66

Lets plan another one, maybe The Undercliff @ Tipton Ford??
