V7II Stone Rear Brake pads
« on: August 24, 2019, 05:13:35 PM »
Greetings all!

Need some new pads for the rear brake. The EBC part number I found was a
FA 256.

Some sites say this isn't the correct one.

Anyone know if it is or isn't?

Thanks,

Jeff

I replaced the rear pads on my V7II Stone with EBC FA256HH sintered pads.  I've ridden about 5000 mi with them.  They seem to work about as well at the OEM pads.

The Ferodo equivalent to the 256 is FDB438. The 1TB V7s use the same pads. Available in a few flavours.

+1 on the EBC. HH pads & total fluid change. My V7II front Brake is now a two & 1/2 finger affair . Rear is much better too. How clever of Guzzi to put the rear bleeder @ the bottom of the caliper ! Oh well ya should really clean it good anyway while it’s unbolted , amazing how much sand ends up there.
