« on: August 23, 2019, 03:00:38 PM »
Just wondering if anyone her plans to go to this rally in Mass this year?  First year owning my Guzzi, and its less then a 2 hour drive, so thinking I might go.

Why would anyone hesitate?
Isn't this the 36th year in a row? Must be good stuff, no?
Benelli is the featured marque. Where else can you be a guaranteed to see more than 2 or 3 Benelli on the same day?
I can only guess: You've not been there B4.  R3~

I’ve been there several times.  Not really a “rally” but more of a bike show.

Regardless, if you’re that close why wouldn’t you go?  It’s a very cool event.

Its a 6-8 hour crap ride for me from NJ.

I've taken the GRiSO there the last few years. Then usually head down to the Back Door in Conn. Lots of old Ducatis there every year.

My oldest IMOC pin is from '85. Will be there for sure, weather permitting. Great venue and a nice ride to get there. I take the back roads to Rt. 198 in Chaplin, then up through Southbridge. Will also be stopping at the Back Door on the way home. I always wonder what happened to the bikes that we used to see there in the 80's and 90's. Used to be a whole bunch of loops in various conditions, some with hacks.
They used to host an event called Triumph Day. That was always well attended, too.
See you there!

It’s a miserable day ride from down here, best to take two or better three days to get up and back via side roads. Mid-September is not the cluster F leaf peeping season, so getting a room shouldn’t be a problem.

Great show. I have been going since it was a bunch of young guys on Italian bikes. The parking lot can be as interesting as the main field. And just ignore the gun shots.

Cam,
Aren't you in need of the second spark plug service?  It's been weeks.
For years I did turn arounds to Jersey for hair cuts. No big deal.
When did we meet on the Jersey side of New Hope for breakfast. Piece o' cake.
