Always amazed when I see these things, there are more around than you would think... my buddy Earl has two of them sitting in his Black Mountain shop over here in WNC.. One is a single.  His are a little better shape than these..  $35k lololololololol

Those things are ugly! But they are not longitudinal. They are transversal. Longitudinal is our garden-variety - Guzzi. Or a Boxer - BMW. Because of the orientation of the crankshaft.
