V85, Stelvio, Quota, GS, KTM......etc.
If anyone wants to come from o/s, I can provide a DRZ 400 Suzuki that I know to be good.
I will prepare it myself as if I was taking it.
It’s a quiet 8,000 k and I guarantee you will get your bike dirty. I’ve done it before in a Toyota Hilux but never on two wheels.
I’m happy to read any “I’d love to buts...” because I know things get in the way.
Please don’t use the term “bucket list”, because there’s a fair chance most of us will die before the bucket does. I had intended to go on a Honda CT 110 and maybe still will one day, but I’ll settle for a V85 for now.
There’s a good camping area 5 k out of Bungendore which I’ve used, but I hear the local pub is frequented by reprobates, so one should exercise caution in that regard.
It can incorporate a swing by Ayers Rock if there’s any interest..
