Day out by Quota
« on: October 04, 2019, 05:15:55 PM »
9 hours, 300 miles, virtually no traffic, lots of trees, no breakdowns, no sore backside, never over 50f. The Quota just rocks..............

Agreed Chuck. Can loaf along all day at 70+. Handles really well. Happy on loose stuff.  Superbly comfortable.  Minimal high-tech. And at the price I paid, an absolute give-away.  Best of all, it still rumbles and grunts like a Guzzi and doesn't feel like a Honda.  Proper bike  :thumb: :thumb:

I saw my first Quota at Mandello, 1998, a prototype minus bodywork.  I thought given the high tech frame design that it was a Supermotard.  It was the last Guzzi design led by John Wittner, as I recall.  Word at the Giardinetto (then a storied hotel) was that he was a good guy, but not a real (meaning Italian degreed) engineer
