Talked to antmanbee the other night
To see if anyone going I have a few days of pto so if anyone has any ideas of meeting or riding around let us know I live 75 miles north of Daytona by a1a south of Jax Beach fl

I'm about 10 miles north of Daytona. I'm game for meeting up at the Pantheon or at Martins or maybe even a ride as long as it is out in the country and not in the midst of the craziness.

I used to go to Biketoberfest every year. Watched it kinda fizzle out. Last time was 2010? No factory support, no demo rides of any kind, no
Harley-Davidson. Just Daytona with a few more motorcycles than normal. So I quit going. Maybe its gotten back on track?

For me it's resonably close to home ,we are having good weather predicted, yes it's hog centric but there are back roads nearby, the griso is a drop in the ocean yes .but the point is sunshine,motorcycles,friends. If guzzi riders or other brands stay away I don't blame the factory not doing anything
And for some of our out of town riders who maybe have dreamed of going it's not nice to spoil a memory they pass down good or bad . My intention of the post was to get with enthusiasts of the Marque and have fun that's all nothing more nothing less and I only surround my self with positive people sorry for all that have not enjoyed themselves in the sunshine state

Not to mention the locals would rather you not go... The only ones who like the bikes own hotels, bars, and food joints.

Gentlemen my post is about those interested in going not about why you are not plain and simple. Antmanbee and myself know alot of nice riding areas close and can share this with those experianced and new to the Daytona and north east Florida scene.

My wife and some friends & I enjoyed that awesome event for many years. I'd love to go but wifey no longer wishes to ride MC's. It's almost always a beautiful time of the year and the Daytona area is tons of fun. Just a short 175 mile ride from our Jupiter home. We would rent a beach front condo, share with another couple, and have a motorcycle ball. So sorry I'll not be there. Ya'll have fun.

I used to live in Palm Beach County too in fact I purchased my y2k red quota from the old pwersports dealer on military trail in y2k
It was very popular on palm Beach where I worked . I now live in North Florida I'm now 6 hours from the mountains instead of 6 hours to the state line . I always rode in the bills bikes toy run as bill (rip)was a good friend,I also know gorilla bob I still wear a t-shirt got from him 30 years ago mind you its getting thin it says " I rode my motorcycle to trailer week" lol . I'm still deciding what I want to do in dB hopefully some guzzis show from other places time will tell

Ok bob I'll get a plan together in a few days I'm up in ponte vedra beach. Just a side note I meet with some of my riding friends almost every Saturday and Sunday morning around 08:00 at the Phillies hwy cr210 gate gas station by nocatee, today I'll be there then heading to avenues mall for cars and coffee before going to work

I was in contact with antmanbee this a.m. and our plans for us to meet a Lenny's ny pizza 1458 ocean shore blvd (a1a) Ormond beach at 11:00 am Saturday we feel this way we will avoid the dreaded traffic everyone is wanting to avoid Daytona for . Then wecan ride some more enjoyable back roads to be decided. Hope to see you all there

Meeting up is changed to Sunday due to weather. Same time same place, just a day later.
The OP has to work and will not be there, unfortunately.
