That'd be my birthday weekend.

So, yeah, I'll be going too.

Why would the organizers schedule a race in Austin in the middle of August ? Then again , why does AFT schedule a dirt track race in OKC during the middle of June .

I've been to Austin in October, and it was hot & humid.  No way you'd catch me there in August!

They didn't

The Austin race is with Moto GP in April.
The Indy race is in August.

So far OKC, it's hard to find a good weather date.  June can be great but it seems the weather somehow turns for the worse on that particular date.
