As with all Moto Guzzi's I have owned there will be a few bugs in the soup.
I was having trouble with the clutch adjuster on the handle bars. they have a little piece of thin sheet metal that is suppose to rest in one of the notches in the adjuster knob. trouble is that it bounces out allowing the knob to vibrate out of adjustment. After about the third time in a week , I decided to do something about it. Fix is very easy & CHEAP. From ace hardware I picked up a small tapered spring , and a stainless washer. Disconnected the cable at the lever. trimmed off some of the spring , then installed it on the cable. Next I cut a small channel in the washer so it would allow the clutch cable into the middle. Then reassemble the clutch assembly. Been on there for about 600 miles and no need to adjust.
Hope this helps
