Hi everyone
I'm the proud owner of a Breva 750 which I've had for a few years, and now I've got the urge to customise a little bit.
Because I had the temerity to take the bike out in the rain once, the paint is now falling off the god-awful cast alloy footpeg/exhaust hangers. Rather than faff about painting them, I thought it might be possible to do away with them altogether but I don't want to start welding brackets to my frame. Partly because I would like any mods I do to be reversible, but mostly because I can't weld/don't have any welding kit :)
I understand that the Breva frame is an evolution of earlier models, so what I'd like to know is will the lower frame rails from a V50, for example, simply bolt to the the my frame? I know I'll have to replace the hanger plates on the silencers, but they're only bolted on so that should be straightforward to do. I'm guessing that I'll also have to re-locate the rear brake master cylinder as well? A single seat conversion is on the cards, so having no rear footpegs is not an issue for me.
My ultimate aim is to fit some V7 body parts, seat, tank, etc. I've already found a plastic V7 tank with all its paint still attached, but I'll need a fuel pump for it. I know the Breva pump won't fit so can anyone tell me which models of pump will fit?
Thanks
